Course Information
This Heartsaver First Aid course in New Jersey is a basic first aid certification class open to anyone who wants to be prepared to respond confidently during medical emergencies. Approved by the American Heart Association (AHA), this First Aid certification in NJ combines practical instruction with hands-on learning to ensure students are ready to act when it matters most.
By the end of this basic first aid training in North Jersey, students will be able to:
Perform a proper scene assessment and basic patient evaluation
Know how to create and manage a first aid kit
Provide first aid for medical, traumatic, and environmental emergencies
Properly use an EpiPen or auto-injector
Perform correct bandaging and wound-care techniques
