Who We Are:

Emergencies can happen anytime, anywhere. Knowing how to act quickly can mean the difference between life and death.

At Act First Emergency Training, we believe that everyone—from families to first responders—should be equipped with the confidence and knowledge to act during a crisis. Our team is led by experienced EMTs and certified instructors who bring real-world emergency experience into every course.

By teaching hands-on CPR, BLS, ACLS, and first aid training in North Jersey, we help create safer communities where people are prepared to provide critical assistance when needed most.

What We Do:

We offer certified CPR, BLS, ACLS, and first aid training courses tailored for:

  • Individuals and families

  • Healthcare professionals (EMTs, nurses, physicians, dental teams)

  • Teachers and childcare providers

  • Gyms, restaurants, offices, and other workplaces

Our programs are always aligned with the latest American Heart Association guidelines and current medical best practices. With a blend of expert instruction and hands-on practice, our EMT-led CPR classes give you the skills to stay calm, act fast, and save lives.

Meet Your Instructor

Maxwell Farkas
EMT-B, PA-C, MPAS,
BLS/ACLS Instructor

Max is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant, an experienced Volunteer EMT, and a certified BLS/ACLS instructor based in North Jersey. His passion for emergency medicine and CPR education drives his unique teaching style, which combines real-life medical experience with engaging, hands-on instruction.

Max is kind, patient, and committed to helping students—from first-time learners to seasoned professionals—gain the confidence to act in an emergency.
